Fun At Brulant

Yes, we like to have fun here at Brulant. It's no secret. But, we have a really good excuse. When you work as hard as we do, you need to play hard too! All of our events are meant to be fun for our team members and an opportunity to meet and connect with other Brulant team members who you might otherwise not interact with. We also try to bring our extended Brulant family of significant others, spouses and children into our events as much as possible. The more the merrier!

Practice Wars

We are all a pretty competitive lot, here at Brulant… so you will probably not be too surprised to hear that we have an official, company sponsored event where the practices go head-to-head in a series of tournaments, from corn-hole to bowling to whirly ball. The overall winners get the most coveted prize of all… bragging rights. They also get a really cool t-shirt that they often proudly wear around the building to flaunt their “winner” status!

United Way Cornhole Challenge

We are committed to United Way and supporting them in various ways. We have a company-wide program where team members can donate pre-tax dollars to the charity and we also hold periodic challenges throughout the year to raise additional funds for the charity.

Poker Tournaments

Maybe it’s the risk taker in all of us… but many of our team members love to play cards. Texas Holdem seems to be the current fan favorite among our team members. In fact, we hold regular poker tournaments that rotate around different team member’s homes and are even sometimes held right here in our offices.

Holiday Parties

Every year is a different theme and venue. This year we rented out The Corner Alley (downtown Cleveland). Everyone came in for the event. The whole night centered around the theme… “Brulant Only Bowls Strikes”. We had a great night of entertainment, games, food and drinks and we can’t forget the amazing Chinese raffle with those great prizes! It is always fun to let loose for the night with your fellow team members and get to know their significant others.

Summer Outing

Every summer we throw a family-friendly party where we have games and prizes galore. The location has varied from an Indian’s game, to Swings-n-Things (a sports complex), to cheering on our minor league baseball team, The Lake County Captain’s. Regardless of the venue, it is always hysterical to see your fellow team members and their families battle it out in heated potato sack races, coloring contests and much more!

Corporate Challenge

Brulant never misses out on the opportunity here in Cleveland to compete against other companies in our region. Corporate Challenge is an amazing program. The purpose is to create healthy and recreational events that build company pride, morale and camaraderie. Businesses compete by divisions, of companies of similar size. Divisions may vary from year-to-year based on the number and size of companies entering the Corporate Challenge. You won’t be surprised to know that Brulant always places well in the rankings!
