Campmor sells camping and outdoor gear for the outdoor enthusiast through multiple channels and was recently included in Internet Retailer’s Top 500 Guide which profiles the 500 largest e-retail businesses in America, based on reported annual revenues. As their online sales grew, they chose Brulant to be their online solutions partner. Brulant supports Campmor’s WebSphere Commerce site while also enhancing its functionality and driving traffic to the site with search engine marketing programs.

Carhartt manufactures durable, comfortable and quality work wear for workers in many industries including those who work in outdoor conditions. Carhartt has been family owned and operated since 1889 with over 4,000 employees. Brulant worked with Carhartt to design and build two commerce websites – one for consumers and one for retail partners. Both commerce sites achieved results that exceeded expectations and are continuing to support Carhartt’s trusted brand in the marketplace.

Hallmark Cards, Inc., best known for their greeting cards, also offer products like party supplies, gifts, gift wrap, ornaments, picture frames, albums and scrapbooks. Hallmark turned to Brulant to optimize their commerce website because it was not delivering the expected results. Harry & David sells gourmet fruit and food gifts online, by phone and through a mail order catalog. They are known for offering cream-of-the-crop products packed by hand and shipped in their own specially designed, protective box. Brulant implemented IBM WebSphere Commerce search engine optimization technology to create website page URL’s that are search-engine friendly, enhancing Harry & David’s online commerce performance.

Kay Jewelers, a division of Sterling Jewelers Inc., offers fine jewelry online and through its over 800 retail store locations located across the U.S. Brulant worked with Sterling and Kay to implement the IBM WebSphere Commerce platform with the goal of driving traffic both online and to their retail stores experience, maintaining multi-channel harmony. Brulant also helped Kay enhance the online customer experience by adding interactive features.
Client Highlight: Luxottica Group
Luxottica Group designs, manufactures and distributes premium prescription eyeglass frames and sunglasses worldwide. They have over 5,500 retail stores featuring well known brands like Ray-Ban, Chanel, Donna Karan, and Polo Ralph Lauren, to name a few. Luxottica Group also manages retail brands such as LensCrafters and Pearle Vision in North America and Sunglass Hut globally. Brulant’s relationship began with them in 2002, when they were Cole National. In 2004 Cole National was acquired by Luxottica Group and we have continued to work with them ever since. Our work has included supporting their branded sites of Pearle Vision, LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut and Sears Optical including creative design, rich media, usability testing and branding for multiple websites, portal solutions, as well as hosting and application support. Our interactive frame selector that we created for Pearle Vision, as one example, has won many awards including being promoted on The Today Show during a “What’s New in Eyeware” segment.
Client Highlight: Philosophy
Philosophy is a lifestyle brand offering many skincare, bath, body, fragrance, hair care and makeup products. philosophy’s website needed a more intuitive, consistent user-experience that fully expressed the company brand message and essence. Brulant worked with philosophy to create an updated interactive marketing presence including a new look and feel as well as new ways to engage with their consumers using Rich Internet Applications and an industry-leading e-commerce platform. Throughout the work we engaged in usability testing to make sure that the interface that we designed was resulting in good conversion rates and that their customers were able to complete their orders in the most efficient way possible. This website was the first Web 2.0 enabled WebSphere Commerce site.

Things Remembered is a retailer of personalized gifts sold online as well as through their 600 stores across the country and by phone. Things Remembered began as a small engraving and services company 40 years ago and has grown into a company with over 5,000 employees and is consistently included in the industry rankings of top etailing sites in the country. Brulant has partnered with Things Remembered for over 5 years. Our work has included creative design and usability work, rich media design, search marketing, and technology support for their new brand identity including features such as the ability to showcase different online promotions, an interactive personalization visualizer tool as well as alternative payment methods. Tractor Supply Company is the largest retail farm and ranch store chain in the United States with more than 738 retail stores in 40 states and 10,000 team members. Founded in 1938 as a mail order catalog business, today Tractor Supply has revenues surpassing $2 billion. Brulant worked with Tractor Supply to bring them online for the first time in their company history. Our work included everything from online strategy to creative design to eCommerce leveraging IBM’s WebSphere Commerce to hosting and managed services.
